Documentation is the story of what happened, and a lot happens, over the course of a day in preschool. Much of what children build and create needs to be cleaned before moving to a new activity or the next part of the day. Having systems and materials in place for children to document what they have made is a great way for them to save their work, and later reflect on their learning. You can also use it as an assessment.
